Our Story
Grandpa Joe Piunno came from Compo Basso, Italy in 1905 with two fig trees, tomato and garlic seeds. This garlic has been grown for three generations in the Piunno family without the use of herbicides. Grandson Joe Piunno has recently expanded the business commercially with the hope to provide the public with a unique garlic not found locally!
Our Product
Our farm is located in Auburn Township in Geauga County. It is a medium sized family owned and operated farm that prides itself on providing garlic free of herbicides. The soft neck variety of garlic we grow lasts longer than hard neck garlic, Soft neck garlic are picked around the fourth of July and last through February.
