Why Soft Neck Garlic?
Soft Neck vs. Hard Neck
Soft neck garlic is difficult to find and well worth the hunt, compared to the commonly found hard neck variety. Here's why!
Soft neck garlic have both large heads and cloves.
Soft neck garlic lasts much longer than hard neck garlic. Mine last eight months (that's through February).
My soft neck garlic has a uniquely mild, spicy, and robust flavor that only increases over time.
A head of soft neck garlic is packed with more cloves than the hard neck variety. This is because unlike the hard neck, there is no stem running through the garlic head. Instead it's solid edible cloves.
